The New Year - Potential for Personal Growth

Daniel Lonnquist

For many, the new year is a time to reflect on the past year and to contemplate what the future may hold for each of us.  In the Personality and Human Relations process (PRH), the beginning of the new year is an opportunity to reflect on one's growth during the past year.

Here are some questions we might ask ourselves.  Am I a better person today than I was a year ago?  Was my progress planned and acted on in a commited manner, or was my growth unplanned, perhaps a result of unforeseen events?  Do I consider that the year ahead offers the opportunity for progress and growth?  Do I have aspirations of being a better person, living a fuller life, having a greater impact on the persons around me and my world?

These questions are central to persons involved in PRH.  PRH offers the tools and the means to address and answer these questions about the meaning and direction of our lives.  The Center for Growth and Well Being offers PRH workshops, retreats, and individual help to explore your life in depth and to plan for growth and progress in your life.  Please check the schedule in the upcoming events section of this site for a schedule of our group offerings or call the Center (540-342-1800) for an individual appointment.  We hope that you will use the Center to help determine the course of your life journey.
